Q: Where are you located?
Squiggle the Studio is located at 386-388 Barton St E, in Barton Village, at the corner of Smith Ave and Barton St E. Our main entrance is 388 Barton St E.

Q: Can I bring my friend to use the space with me?
No. Our memberships cover a single individual, guests using the space are required to purchase a membership or a day pass (by discretion of studio).

Q: Can I bring someone to visit?
Before inviting anyone into our space, please confirm with Studio. We are a private space, and must enforce that.

Q: What are your hours?
Our retail hours are currently TBD upon opening.
Our membership hours differ based on membership levels. Please refer to Memberships for more details regarding each membership.
Casual Membership hours are limited based on Open Studio hours, which can be found in our Calendar.
General Members have 6am-12am access.
Full Time Members have 24/7 access.

Q: Is there a bus stop near by?
Conveniently we are located on the 02 bus route with a bus stop right outside of the studio and across the street at the corner of Barton St E and St. Matthews Ave.

Q: Where can I park?
Squiggle offers a few parking spaces behind our building (access located off of Smith Ave). Please park only at spots labelled as ours. We share parking with our upstairs neighbours.
Additionally, there is free street parking on Smith Ave and other surrounding streets. We highly advise you to check signage, as each street may have different rules.
Barton St E also offers street parking, often after 6pm it is free. We also advise to to check parking signage and meters as each day is different.

Q: Where is your main entrance?
Our main entrance for our classes and retail space is 388 Barton St E.

Q: I've never taken a pottery class before, are your classes good for beginners?
We offer many different levels of classes at Squiggle. We aim to provide a wide variety of classes that differ based on skill levels, techniques, and creative approaches. Each class posted online features a class description, a breakdown of what you will learn, as well as a recommended skill level. Still unsure? Feel free to reach out to us regarding more information for a class you're interested in!

Q: I missed a class, do you offer make-ups?
If you miss a class, we will offer a make-up class in another class operating during your multi-week session. Due to it being a different class, you may need to work more independently. After your multi-week session is complete, we unfortunately will not be able to offer a make up class. If you miss multiple classes, we may be able to arrange placing you in a future class instead.

Q: What is you Cancellation Policy?:
If you are unable to attend the classes you registered for and provide notice prior to the starting date, we are able to provide you studio credit or a refund.
If we must cancel a whole session for any reason, we are happy to apply credit to a future session, or provide a refund.
If you are unable to attend the rest of your classes, unfortunately after the start date, we cannot provide a refund. We are happy to offer you studio credit.
If a class must be cancelled due to weather, teacher sickness, or a similar situation, class will be extended an additional week.

Q: Is there an age minimum for your classes?
Yes. All classes unless otherwise noted are 18+.
For our workshops, we are flexible.

Q: Is there an age minimum for your memberships?
At this time, members must be 18+.

Q: Do you host private workshops?
Yes we do! We are happy to host you, your friends, family, co-workers... Check out our Rentals tab and send us an email.

Q: I'd like to stop for a coffee/lunch/dinner... where should I go?:
We are so glad you asked! We are located in the vibrant Barton Village. We are so into our neighbours, and you can't go wrong here.
Looking for a good coffee? Just 2 blocks over lives Eldercamp, where you can get great coffee and house made goods. Barton Salumeria and Comma Cafe are also very close and provide delicious coffee and meals.
A few other restaurants and bars nearby that we recommend are; Motel, BAB Korean Food + BBQ, Wildcat, Mosiac, O Cantinho Churrasqueira & Cafe (REALLY good chicken), and Maisy's Pearl. The list could go on!
